Great tip about how your dog's nails should not scrape on the floor. I need to clip my puppy's nails since they are scratching the hardwood floor. I'll have to consider getting a puppy clipper that is easy to use.

I like what you said about making clean cuts on the nail. My cat's fur and nails are too long. I'll have to take her to get groomed.

It's interesting to know that we should build a foundation regarding handling and manipulating the paw and nails of our dog so that the process will be a success. I will follow your advice now that I got a puppy this week. In the future, I want it to be well-behaved when I have to take it to a pet grooming business, because it would need regular nail cutting and hair trimming due to its coat and breed characteristic.

It is good to know that our dogs' nails should not be heard when they walk. My friend is having a hard time cutting his dog's nails. I should advise him to hire a full service pet grooming service to ensure quality work.

I find it interesting when you said that the nail clippers would also have to be sharpened every time to get clean cuts. I hope that the mobile dog groomer that I will find here in Mesa, Arizona would be doing simple tasks like this to also prevent injuries in our pet. It's the first time we have a dog, and we definitely want to make sure that it will be take care of properly in all aspects to be responsible owners.
