We are excited to be offering regenerative medicine in the form of PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections. These are joint injections that are used for the treatment of arthritis or acute injuries to the joints.

How does it work?

1. A blood sample is taken from the patient, goes through a special spinning process that separates and concentrates the platelets and other beneficial growth factors in the plasma portion of the blood.
2. This plasma is then injected into the joint.

​The entire process is very quick (about an hour) and only requires sedation, not full anesthesia.
